Record motor architecture, rated and peak output, nominal and usable battery capacity, chemistry, thermal-management description, charging connector and supported charging power. A family brochure is not a substitute for the quoted configuration sheet.
Duty basis
Define route length, stop frequency, grade, target passenger load, HVAC assumptions, ambient temperature, operating speed and daily cycles. Published range can use a different test cycle, payload and climate, so the quotation should state its calculation or test basis.
Energy and service
Confirm depot input voltage, charger inclusion, commissioning boundary, diagnostic access, spare-parts plan, operator training and warranty exclusions. Vehicle supply and charging-site work may come from different parties and should be priced separately.

Urban fixed-route service
Give the stop pattern, peak passenger load, dwell time, accessibility arrangement, curb environment and daily distance. Ask factories to separate curb weight, GVWR, seated and standing capacity, usable energy, HVAC conditions and range basis so competing offers describe the same duty.
Campus and employee shuttle
Describe road speed, gate clearance, turning constraints, luggage or wheelchair space, shift windows and charger access. A smaller battery may reduce cost and mass, while a larger pack may add operational reserve; neither choice is universally preferable without route and charging data.
Intercity or coach duty
Specify sustained speed, grades, passenger and luggage load, rest-stop charging options, climate loads and driver-hour schedule. Request evidence for the exact body and battery combination rather than assuming a city-bus range figure transfers to intercity operation.
